Darryl Bedoy

Co-founder

Born and raised in Southern California, Darryl graduated from University of California, Irvine with a degree in Economics. Upon graduation, he began his proposal writing career at Aerojet ElectroSystems, where he learned to decipher government RFPs and develop comprehensive, compliant outlines to ‘answer the mail’ within impressive proposal documents. Eight years later, he accepted a Proposal Management position at Earth Technology (now AECOM), where he learned to write proposals for a service industry. Two years later, he was recruited by CET Environmental where he began working side-by-side with Maureen Cotton and a team of exceptional proposal writers/editors. In that time, the proposal team won more than $1.2B in contracts.

In 2002, Darryl co-founded Integrated 8(a) Solutions with Maureen and has continued helping 8(a)-, woman-, veteran-, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) navigate federal contracting and develop winning proposals. Darryl and Maureen also support large businesses on proposals to ensure submittal of compliant, eye-catching proposals. Darryl oversees PX-300 Soil Stabilization and valve installation projects. When not staring at a computer screen or working in the field, Darryl loves cooking and entertaining and is involved with showing award-winning French Bulldogs.

Maureen Cotton

Co-founder

Maureen graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She moved to Southern California 35 years ago, joining Earth Technology (now AECOM), where her role was business development and proposal writing. Maureen went on to work for CET Environmental, where she helped grow their backlog from one federal contract to a dozen large IDIQ contracts in less than three years. In 2002, she took the leap—co-founding Integrated 8(a) Solutions—and landed squarely on both feet by securing several big wins for her new clients. Maureen conducts competitive analyses to ensure each pursuit makes sense and is “winnable.”

Maureen also manages PX-300 soil stabilization and valve installation projects with valve installations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Most recently, she led the company’s expansion into Norway. Outside of her work in the field and at the computer, Maureen enjoys fitness, travel, and spending time with her rescue dogs, Gretel and Princess.
